While Piazza Duomo and the main street are home to most of the town’s shops and restaurants, do spend some time wandering and exploring the quieter side streets, where you will find arched passageways, hidden gardens and tiny piazzas. The villa is a few kilometers from Ravello. Sitting high in the hills above Amalfi, Ravello is famous for its lush gardens and stupendous views, the best in the world according to former resident Gore Vidal.

The sight of Positano from a distance is breathtaking. Color is everywhere, reflecting on the tranquil sea, the silvery pebbled beach and the gleaming Majolica-domed church of Santa Maria Assunta. The houses built up from the waterside, accessible to one another via an endless array of steep stairs, boast pale sorbet colors. In summer, when the serried ranks of sunbeds fill up quickly, take a boat to explore the many small coves up and down the coast.

The ancient center of Sorrento is laid out on a Roman grid of narrow lanes, now lined with restaurants serving pasta and shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs. But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. The vaulted Sedile Dominova, once a meeting space for aristocracy, is now a working-men's club where old-timers while away afternoons playing cards. If Sorrento gets too much, the laid-back town of Vico Equense, which stands on a sheer tufa cliff just along the coast, makes an attractive base.

The villa is just a five-minute drive from the center of Amalfi, where all the necessary services can be easily found.

This exceptional villa can accommodate up to twelve guests featuring six bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread across the main villa and the dépendance.

With spectacular views of the sea, the villa boasts an exceptional pool and a generous poolside area with terracotta floors, furnished with sun loungers for basking in the sun. Surrounded by a lush garden, the villa features a generous terrace furnished with comfortable sofas and tables, and a shaded area with dining table for ten people, perfect for al fresco meals. Offering a tranquil atmosphere and featuring a hot tub, the outdoor area is the perfect retreat to sunbathe or sip a cocktail while enjoying the sea breeze.

Accessed from the main road, the entrance level of the main villa houses a small lounge area leading to a spacious double bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom with tub and direct access to a balcony with blue-printed tiles, sun loungers and views of the sea. Accessed from a stone staircase, the lower level of the villa features a spacious sitting and dining area with access to the terrace. From the sitting room, a small corridor leads to two comfortable double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower.

On the same level you will also find a fourth spacious double bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom with large tub. This level also features a spacious dining room with large table and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay. The kitchen also features French windows opening onto the terrace. Two more double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower and doors opening onto the terrace can be found in the dépendance.
