Villa del Castello is set in a prestigious and central location. This lovely and unique property is located only a 3 minute walk from the Piazzetta (main square) and the centre of Capri. Fantastic panoramic views over the entire town, the Gulf of Naples and the a part of the Bay of Marina Piccola, (with the top of the typical Faraglione) can be enjoyed from its gardens. The property boasts flowering gardens, 4 widest terraces and some relaxing spots with a fountain and a sofas.

The villa has 2 access: directly from the road, it is really useful if you would reach the villa by taxi, 20 steps lead up to the main entrance gate and an alleyway leads through a luxurious garden among tall pine trees, lemon trees, cypress trees and bouganvilleas. Or you can access by the pedestrian shortcut that allows to reach the Piazzetta in 3 min.
From the main garden, 10 steps take you up to the main terrace where is located the wonderful pool (14 mt x 5 mt). Right in front of one of the 3 houses. From there you can see all the compund and all the layout of the property, the Italian style garden with flowers, the jasmines growing up on the columns and the walls, white roses and oleander trees. The villa came into its current owner’s family in the early 20th century and its elegance and exclusivity makes it one of the most desirable properties on the island of Capri. Cool marble and hand-made tiles on the floors, vaulted ceilings, antique furniture, white draperies and hand made stucco give the interiors of the villa a timeless feel and an incomparable charm. The white dominating and its position make him a really cool place! Villa del Castello is a typical Capri Style property with the white rooms, vaulted ceilings into the house, pergolas with white columns and plant climbers to spend a relaxing afternoon or to have al fresco dinners, cotto tiles, bronzes.

 
The villa consists of a main house overlooking a generous swimming pool and a generous paved poolside area furnished with comfortable deckchairs. From the pool, you can enjoy wonderful views over the sea.
The main entrance door leads to a bright living room complete with a comfortable white double sofa bed and satellite TV. With large windows overlooking the pool, the living room is flooded with natural light.
On one side, you will find a spacious and elegant double bedroom with en-suite marble bathroom featuring large mirrors and whirlpool tub.
On the opposite side, you will find a double bedroom with queen-size bed and a small en-suite bathroom.
From the master bathroom, you can access a single room with a small guest bathroom.
Next to this room you will find a fully-equipped kitchen featuring all the amenities you might need during your stay: fridge and freezer, dishwasher, six-burner hob, oven and two sinks. The kitchen has a window and a door leading to the path that goes around the house.
Next to the kitchen you will find a dépendance which features a single bed and a private bathroom with shower.
From the rooftop terrace you can enjoy enchanting views over the Gulf of Naples and the Mount Vesuvius on one side and the Faraglioni on the other side. The house is very quiet and central and can be reached either on foot (about two minutes from the piazzetta) or comfortably by taxi from another street. Any service is available on request.


Access: the villa is reachable by car or a 3-minute walk from the main square of Capri. 

STAFF DETAILS. The caretaker and the gardener live close to the house. Cook is available on request. Final cleaning is included in the rental rate. 3 hours of daily housekeeping service included in the rental rate.
